About Lodat

We build software inside the problems we solve.

Lodat is the operator company behind VenueOS, Keptable and CoreShift. One engineering bench. Three products. One thesis.

We started inside a kitchen.

The first product, VenueOS, was built by an operator inside their own restaurant. Not designed in a deck, not researched from a desk, not stitched together from a stack of seven SaaS tools. Written against the actual jobs the venue had to do, every day, on the floor. By the time the twelfth module went live, the seven tools were gone, and the platform had a name.

Then we noticed the pattern.

Every operator running an appointment-driven business had the same hole in the floor: held bookings that never converted to revenue. Different sectors, same loss column. A focused product solved the problem cleanly. Not as a VenueOS feature, but as its own thing. That product became Keptable.

Then we asked the harder question.

If software flattens friction in a venue or in a booking ledger, what about the friction inside a life? What about the patterns we ourselves drift into? CoreShift is built on the Life Circumstance Model. A framework for reading whether life is improving, stable, drifting or declining, and recommending the smallest effective next step.

Three products. One thesis.

Friction compounds. The right software flattens it. We build operating layers. For venues, for held appointments, for personal change. And we ship from inside the problems we’re trying to solve. That’s Lodat.

How we work

Three things we hold to.

Operator-built.

VenueOS lives in a real working venue. Keptable was prompted by a £3,000 booking we lost ourselves. CoreShift is built on a model we’re willing to put our own life through. We ship from inside the problem.

One bench.

Three products, one engineering team. Same database thinking. Same audit-first design. Same posture on payments, security, and data. The portfolio looks broad but the operating muscle is concentrated.

Honest scope.

We don’t pitch what we haven’t built. Pre-launch products say pre-launch. Wellness products don’t use clinical language. We leave the phrase ‘revolutionary AI-first hospitality experience’ to the companies that need it.
